Marshmally Goodness!!!

I feel like the luckiest girl alive today. It's ridiculous how something this simple can make me so HAPPY!

After receiving my super yummy large decaf milk chocolate campfire mocha at the drive thru lane at Caribou today, I casually asked the girl at the window if they used a marshmallow syrup in my drink. She said yes to which I replied "I thought so. It's so yummy. I need to find where I can buy some." I nearly jumped for joy (a difficult feat sitting in a car) when she told me they will sometimes sell bottles right there if it's OK with their manager. I couldn't believe my ears! I said "REALLY?! I'm pulling around and coming inside". She laughed at me - in a good way.

Sure enough, as I walked inside she was speaking with her manager and as she saw me she said "oh, here she is." and held up a beautiful, glorious, LARGE bottle of marshmallow syrup.

$7 (plus tax) and it was MINE!!!!

I foresee some very delectable drinks coming to fruition at scrap camp next weekend!

Moral of this story: Don't be afraid to ask questions.

My last day...for now

Tomorrow marks my final day filling in for Crystal while she was on maternity leave. I'm excited and sad. I've really enjoyed going back to work. Mostly because I had at ton of flexibilty, awesome AWESOME boss, and time to appreciate NOT being away from home at a job. The sad feelings come from missing the structure of having a job. The excitement is from, well, not having a job! I can't wait to be home again full time with Gwen. She's so much fun at this age. She keeps me laughing all day long and I'm happy I'll get to enjoy more of that in the weeks to come.

The "for now" portion of this post is simply that I'm not really done working. I'm going to stay on with Chuck's practice as a special projects coordinator. I just made up that title. Sounds good!

Also, I'll be working on my own growing business. I'm excited to start a new Halloween collection. I've designed the invitation and started roughing out some ideas for the rest of the collection. I think it might turn out to be one of my favorites.

If you have a moment, bop over to my website or store to check out my printable party coordinates!

WARNING: highly addictive fun coming at you!

First, I must thank my sister Terry for letting me in on this.

Have you heard of Pinterest?

It is a super addictive, highly informative and wonderfully fun website! That is if you're a crafty person, lover of food, admirer of great photography and fashion, fanatic about party planning, etc. I happen to be guilty of all of the above. So here's the what:

go there. go there now. (but come back here.)

I also added their App to my iPhone. It's become more addicting than Facebook for me. Well, in all honesty, I'm not that addicted to Facebook. I check it a few times a day. But Pinterest, I get low battery messages a lot while I'm pouring through all of the neat stuff!

Basically, it's like someone took all of the coolest and most interesting blogs out there and dropped them in one giant yummy pot. I'm also excited that it will help me get some of my own creations out into the world and in front of a very vast audience.

The only draw back is that my "crafty to do" list has grown exponentially. I have so many crafts and projects I want to make now. It's also helping me to keep updated with HOT party planning trends. I need to book some new clients and events because I am bubbling over with new ideas for parties!

So, I apologize in advance for being your "dealer" and getting YOU addicted to Pinterest, but truthfully, I think you'll thank me in the end.

Blog love to all!

Chiropractor oh Chiropractor, you are my hero!

Background:

I use to be a part of the "once you see a crackopractor - you always have to go! Why would I want to do that?!" camp

Now I'm part of the "why did I wait so long to see this wonderful person?!" camp

My chiropractor is FABULOUS! Dr. Anderberg is a great guy, and great doctor! I get to see him almost every two weeks right now and it's worth every penny. He makes my headaches go away - literally, and fixes my pregger back problems.

He even donated $ to my fundraising for 3 Day this past summer and adjusted me before and after at no charge! What a guy!

Just thought this was worth the mention - since it makes me happy :)
